Born in Sicily in 1982, already based in Milan, Berlin and Dubai. Currently splitting my time between the city of Montreal and the coastline of Sicily, between directing mainstream live shows and daydreaming about multimedia, arts, the life, the universe and everything.
With 14+ years of international experience in Arts and Entertainment, my creative path has always been moved by passion and curiosity: triggered in 2006 by experimental theater and video art, it evolved significantly with the work on digital arts and interactive dance. Recently established in the entertainment and live show industry, I am currently reclaiming my artist practice and whenever possible I am always keen to get back to my first love and that creative freedom given by media arts.
As an independent show director, and a multimedia artist, I love to bring to life a creative project from thin air and to collaborate organically with different kind of artists: from musicians and sound designer to dance and theater performers, from concept artists and motion designers to creative coders, scenographers and light designers.
My artistic projects appeal to the potential of creative technology with a comprehensive multimedia artistic approach: a balanced mix of media doesn't just convey a concept more clearly but also deeply involves the audience at an emotional level.
Some of my original artistic creations, among them, SYN, multimedia installation, and Elektro-kokon, interactive performance, have been seen around the world, and invited to prestigious art events, such as Moscow Biennale, Mediterranea (BJCEM), Milan Design Week, Athens Digital Arts Festival, and the International Symposium of Electronic Arts (ISEA).
