OVERVIEW
An aesthetic journey towards the extreme boundaries of pixel manipulation, somewhere in between cyberpunk and postmodern pastiche.
The creative process consists of three distinct but equivalent passages. First rule: bump into a reality glitch. A photographic research to find in the contemporary world shreds of decadent futurism. Second rule: destroy a reality glitch. A pinch of digital distortion using a hacked piece of Processing code to sort the pixels of the captured image. Third rule: recreate a glitched reality. A frustrating attempt to give it a sense by layering up and stretching loose pixels together.
